a.k.a. "Jon Claude" or "Rick". When Richard was 10, his father, Archie, suggested he take guitar lessons. Rick backed down from that idea fixating on a musical journey as a trumpet player. When his teen years came, guitar seemed like a much "cooler" thing to do. Guitar it was and GUITAR IT IS! Archie had the right plan all along. Rick is now known for his "jaw dropping" guitar solos. As a university student, his picture was featured on a Billboard. Rick has a college degree in musical performance and does studio work in the Sioux Falls area.

"All I ever wanted to do was play the drums". When you look to the stage and get back to the drums, you'll see an ear-to-ear grin. Toby has a great time putting the "groove" to the Velvet Touch Band. He has been involved with several music projects in the midwest and continues to hone his skills. The dance floor being full at Velvet Touch performances has a lot to do with the energy and beat coming from Toby's drumset. It's music that will make your feet grin!
